Route 20 Reconstruction Project Update

What is happening?
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is hosting a Live Virtual Public Information Meeting on Thursday, May 4, 2023. At this meeting, the project team will update the public on the design and discuss early construction activities for the Route 20 Reconstruction Project in Charlton & Oxford. The meeting will begin with a presentation by the project team, followed by time for attendees to ask questions.

How will this affect you?
MassDOT is redesigning and reconstructing Route 20 in Charlton and Oxford to improve safety and traffic operations. Proposed work includes widening the roadway, replacing bridges over the Little River and the French River, adding sidewalks and shared use paths, installing a median barrier, improving safety and traffic operations at various intersections, and enhancing stormwater treatment.
